Other Activities Involved In: Organic Chemistry Supplemental Instructor, Scholars Leading Scholars, Community Health Involvement Project, Levan Institute, Policy Research Internship Fun Fact I was named after Amanda Bynes (big fan of She's the Man)! Why AED? AED has provided me with some of the most incredible and inspiring individuals that I’ve ever met. Prior to AED, I didn’t have many other “premed” friends. Through joining, I found a network of the most supportive friends and mentors—people who have brought me chicken soup when I was sick during midterms or people who have helped me through the most difficult of prerequisite courses. Surrounding myself with so many accomplished and caring individuals who are so passionate not only about medicine but also about a variety of other topics and fields has not only solidified my own interest in medicine but also pushed me to explore other interests and work harder. As challenging and unprecedented as everything going on in the world currently is, I’m really excited to see how this strengthens our members and how our organization will grow as a whole. |
